Very interesting information. I am hearing and my boyfriend is deaf. I have for years tried to understand deaf culture in hopes of feeling some type of connection. I realize that I will never fully get it, but I have learned sooooo much. I really believe people should decide for themselves what they want to endure. My only exception is in a life or death situation. God created all of us and has always and will always be equal. I really needed help understanding your sighing. LOL still working on receptive skils.
